Full-Time – Dermatology Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner

This opportunity is rare to join the premier Dermatology practice in the region. This position will be working with a supervising Dermatologist to provide both medical and cosmetic dermatologic care. The PA/NP is responsible to the patient community for providing competent care in accordance with his/her education and skill level. This responsibility also provides an avenue for decision making with the supervising physician in arriving at a diagnosis, choosing a treatment regimen and developing a plan of care which involves the patient and their significant others. The PA/NP will maintain working knowledge of billing and coding procedures; maintain corporate and patient confidentiality; uphold compliance standards; and promote positive public relations both inside the clinic and in the community. Applicant would need a license in the state of Iowa and South Dakota. Competitive salary with bonus opportunity and benefits available.

PRN – General Surgery, Certified MA/LPN/RN

We are looking for an RN/LPN/Certified MA to join the General Surgery Department on a PRN basis and work with an awesome group of providers! This is a perfect position for someone who is retired but would still like to be active in health care. The General Surgery department’s hours of operation are M-F 8:00-5:00, this position is scheduled on an as-needed basis. Being bilingual is a plus.

The ideal candidate is a versatile team player who is able to maintain positive, supportive, and effective relationships with providers, co-workers, and patients while emphasizing patient-centered care.


Duties will include:

  • Assisting with the medical and clerical procedures for the delivery of primary health care and patient care management
  • Performs clinical and clerical duties
  • Prepares patients for examination and treatment
  • Takes patient histories with vital signs when appropriate
  • Prepares exam and treatment rooms with necessary instruments
  • Prepares and maintains supplies and equipment for treatments, including sterilization
  • Assists with scheduling of tests, prior authorizations, treatments, and surgeries
  • Screens telephone calls for referral to nurse or physician; provides general information on departmental policies and procedures
  • Maintains clinical and office supplies and equipment
  • Maintains patient files and records
  • Other duties as assigned
